In the beginning

I will explain this all later. Right now I'm in the office upstairs at the Warehouse Theatre in Lossiemouth before my one man show 'About Robert the Bruce' I've got this great idea for how a middle aged fat bloke can have a lot of fun, whilst hopefully giving you a laugh and letting you see a bit of Europe on this blog. I'll tell you the rest soon.

  1. What a conincidence, I've just watched a middle aged fat bloke at the Warehouse Theatre, Lossiemouth with a one man show called 'About Robert the Bruce' and laughed my arse off for a good two hours.
I'd like to set you a challenge - you're in Denmark first, right? Famed for... well... it's bacon? So, you have to find a butcher in Denmark and - if they don't have Haggis, share with him your cultural heritage (i.e. how to make one) and commission him to make one. If he does have Haggis, then commision him to make a tsintsinga (Ghanaian kebab).
    What do you think?

  2. Loved the show - great jokes! I've got one for you... well, maybe not.
I wouldn't mind though if you'd have a look at my comedy blog - it's at http://www.tuxedojane.com - I'm not asking you to promote me or anything, but if you could leave a comment letting me know what you'd think, I'd be ever so greatful!

  3. Hi Bruce, neat idea! Remembering you once designed a computer based training package explaining the rules of rugby, how about explaining the offside rule to someone whose English is limited - drawing skills may be needed!!

    Good luck with the challenge
